Full Confession:

A few years back, I went to my local Gamestop to browse around. I saw IoH, which was the only HM game that I didn’t have at the time, so I bought it. When I got home and started playing, I saw that only the first file had data saved. Curiously, I played it. It was Year 3, and the MC was the guy, which the player had named Quent. I checked the relationships, and Natalie had almost all hearts, while the other bachelorettes had two or three. The file had a lot of animals, crops, and building upgrades. Seeing that the person had obviously put a lot of work into their game, I decided to only use the second file. I decided that every other day, I’d play Quent’s file, and then the next day switch back to my file. I ended up having Quent and Natalie marry, among other progressions in the game. Later that school year, we got a transfer student from the school a few miles away. His name? Quent. I asked him about it, and it turns out the only reason he had traded in IoH was so that he could trade it in for ToT. He’s an HM nut just like me! We became fast friends, and I showed him what I had done in his file. Quent is now my boyfriend of five years. It just impresses me that HM brought us together like this.
